We wanted to create a game that would be suitable for the ages 14+ so we decided to make a simple game where the player has to figure out the steps they have to follow to espcape the prison. We made the game quite simple because we didn't want the players to bored or annoyed by the game. We used the unity game engine to develop our top-down view 2D game Prison Escape where you play as Ed, Ed is Prisoner who plans to escape the prison, and your objective is to escape the Prison within the time limit and without dying or being caught. The game includes items that you have to collect that help you in your escape, there are also several hazards that you have to avoid so that you don't lose the game. the game includes two levels, the first level is inside the prison, and level two is outside of the prison.
